(If you can tell, I'm still upset that Lucas fucked up the 3 original movies - arguably some of the best movies ever written/shot/produced/whatever by "remastering" them, then "expanding" on them. I'm not sure I'll ever get over my beef with him. I do think its cute that he sits at Starbucks and sips his coffee and knits in the mornings, though. I'm just dreading what Disney is going to do to Star Wars.) ANYWAYS. Welcome back! This week's Drunken Stamper Challenge is Braveheart, or Gingham!   I really enjoyed this challenge because I got to use a number of items I've been hoarding, namely the fall accessories.     I got to layer with this tag, using three different types of ribbon!  The little felt owl is on a clip and can be removed from his perch. I'm pretty happy with how this little tag turned out. I wrote on the back and attached it to a jar and gave it to a friend fro her 19th anniversary with the law firm we both work for. Greetings! Today’s Drunken Stamper Challenge was to create something inspired by the movie, Singing in the Rain. As I am from Seattle, where it is grey and misty/rainy half of the year, I was really pleased with this challenge! I’ve got some great stamps for this particular theme and I was so excited to use them! Love it! Here’s what I came up with!   I hope this has inspired you! This week's challenge at Drunken Stampers was one of my favorite classic pieces, by the amazing director (although one with questionable morals, according to Tippy Hedron interviews) Alfred Hitchcock.     Here is my take on the challenge.     I love this card because it is the epitomy of the movie the birds, from the dark tones to the classic black and white printed papers. This term's Drunken Stamper's Challenge theme is two-fold: its based on movies, but if you haven't seen the movie, you can go with another theme. The movie this week was Sixteen Candles. I'm a Molly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall fan, and I vaguely remember this movie. (Actually, I should probably see it again!)   Of course she gets the guy in the end and blah blah blah, but I wanted to do something different for this challenge, so I made a guy's birthday card.   And I based my card off of this sketch.     A little naughty, a little nice, and I hope you liked it. Hello and Happy Happy Saturday! I'm so excited about this week's challenge - its so much FUN! This week's challenge is the Avengers or Superheros. I haven't seen The Avengers, so I chose to run with the Superhero theme, which is great because its the perfect theme for a masculine card.
