Hi All, A lot has been going on in my studio over the past week. I’ve been invited to participate in “Village Night Out”, in which a collection of shops open their doors and there is live music and sales and food, etc. It’s a nice atmosphere and I’ve done VNO before. It’s something I enjoy, so I’ve been preparing my stock for this event over the past week, mostly focusing on holiday cards and going through my items to make sure packaging and pricing is set. Since I didn't want to bore you with these details I didn't take any pictures for today's post. Heartbreaking, I know. ;) I’m planning on making several sets of tags (of which I will be sure to take pictures of) as well and putting on a store-wide sale. So that’s what’s going on! Hi All and Good Morning! Last night I was fortunate enough to get home and shoot a few photographs of my products for my Etsy store  before the sun went down. I am quite happy with how the pictures have turned out and I feel happy that my store is begining to show progress after the slow summer sales. Chec out my flickr to the right to peak at those images. I also have big news! In addition to hosting a booth once a month at Cocoa & Cream in Magnolia, Washington, I will be hosting second booth across the street at Vixen Day Spa and Boutique as well! The main focus here will be a better fit, I feel. More focus on the cards. Also, I applied to Etsy's Pre-Holiday Winter Show listed for October! I will find out in September if I made the cut or not. Hi All, Well, the Father's Day show was pretty slow. I don't think it helped that the weather was overcast, but people just were not out-and-about, either. I also forgot a large chunk of my jewelry, which is just as well because for the size of my table, and merchandizing until I get another, the amount of piece I had were perfect. I also made some changes from last show. I made an obnoxiously colored card sign, and brought the cards out to the corner of the table where people have to look at them. They *did* get more views, and a lot of compliments. :D I've also made some changes in my merchanidizing; I got the ideas from some vendors I saw when I did the UW Street Fair. If you've read my post about the street fair I did in May, you know how I feel about large street fairs now. (Probably one of the only bonuses of doing a large street fair is seeing how other people market and merchandize their items - it really helped me!) Anyways, I was able to find some wire sta...
