Hello and thanks for joining me again! Today's project is for Speedy Fox and Friends Design Team at Mark's Finest Papers. The challenge was #133 - Add a Fence. Boy, was this card a challenge!! After rummaging around in my collection (seriously, I don't think I own a SINGLE fence item!) I finally gave up and downloaded a digital image, which worked out better than I could have imagined! I colored the image and set it aside. I matched a copic color to a color in the polka dot backgrounds and colored the rick rack ribbon with the copic marker. (As Copics are alcohol-based markers, this acts as a stain.) I then layered a brown on the polka dot paper, added the rick rack and the fence. I stamped out the small Amaryllis from the Amaryllis Definition set and colored it with Copics. I added pop dots to pop the flower off of the page. I then stamped the sentiment from the same set that reads "You make the day sparkle." Well, what do you think? Now's your chanc...

I was recently lucky enough to be chosen to be a part of a select group of designers for Speedy Fox and Friends at Mark's Finest Papers. I can't believe my good luck! These ladies are so much fun to create with and the challenges are...well, challenging! Originally I created this card for a challenge, but it didn't work out for that said challenge, so this is just a pretty little thing I ended up creating with the Black Eyed Susan set. What do you think?

Hello My Lovelies! Check out my newest creation for  Visible Image Stamps ! I constructed this attractive art tag that features a number of techniques and different images from Visible Image. Its my first time incorporating an art tag onto a card. To create this card I used following: The chain and padlock from the Heavy Metal set; the F ree Your Imagination set; the Classic Face rubber stamp; the Grunge Polka Dot background stamp; and the Grunge Flourish stamp. You will also need your favorite Tim Holtz Distress Stains. I used Aged Mahogany, Chipped Sapphire, and Peeled Paint. I created a background with the dye and diluted it by spraying water on it. I patted the tag to soak up some of the excess ink and set it aside to dry. Next I stamped the Grunge Polka Dots in red on the lower 1/3rd of the base of the card. Hello Bloggerland! I hope you're doing well today. Today's post is featuring a *new fall release* from Marks Fine Papers! I used the brand new On the Fly stamp set to create this card. I love this image. I'm a city girl, but I love the country! I love to be able to close my eyes and hear -nothing- but nature, or look up at the stars and get dizzy there's so many.  Everything is stamped in black and colored with copic markers. I added liquid applique to the lake to add dimension and texture to this outdoor scene. I then paired with fine papers and distressed the edges of all pieces. I hope you enjoyed this card! There's a great Release Special going on at Mark's Fine Papers right now! Check it out and enjoy!
