Bombshell Stamps Embroidered Stamping

Image
I'm currently working on my home, upgrading here and there and adding touches that I love. A few weeks back I  installed kitchen cafe curtains (sewed them myself!) and as a simple decorative touch I added one of those retro three arm towel racks above the sink.  I found a delicate pillowcase that had embroidery on it that I loved and cut it down to tea towel size.  I've been displaying this on the towel rack ever since. This also gave me an idea.  Embroidery is cheap, easy and fun (seriously, the floss is practically next to nothing and you can get a whole pack of all sorts of colors at Joann's for less than $10) and, even though I've never done embroidery before, when I was little I did cross stitch, which is kind of the same thing.  Well, I've seen tea towels on etsy that women have embroidered and I absolutely love them. But lets be real - I'm not going to spend $35 plus shipping for a stinking tea towel!  And besides, personal crafts are...

Welcome back everyone! I’m really excited because I broke 180 fans on my facebook fan site. Wahoo! I’m still going for 200, so when I reach 200 I think I’ll have a giveaway. What should I give away? Leave me a comment and let me know what you think! Wow, have I got some great cards to share with you! I’ve been busy stamping and coloring and piecing items together for the upcoming holidays - Halloween and Dia de Los Muerte, which are probably my two favorite holidays of the year. I was so happy with how these cards turned out, I listed them in the shop before posting here about them. I love this Día de los Muertos because it features one of my favorite sugar skull stamps from Bombshell stamps. It's altered with rhinestones and is handcolored. I love this card because, again, it features a couple wonderful images from Bombshell stamps, one of my favorite companies, and has been hand-colored. I also used my Tattered Angels glimmer mist for the first time on this card to ad...

Hiya! Well, I was finally able to sit down and work on a few things today! I've got this sweet little card would make a great Mom card, or a nice way to say just 'enjoy your day'. I really love how it turned out. It's simple but colorful. What do YOU think? Emily Wilson (Ms June at Bombshell Stamps) sent me the image to play with. Isn't it cute? It's Sheree of InStyle Stamps. I've got Kraftin' Kimmie's Bridget (which is another bathtub image) to play with as well. Also, I finally got my Kraftin' Kimmie sets I placed an order for and I started on a new card. Also, this is the first time I've had a chance to use Richie from this '50's collection as well. I'm excited to see how this card will turn out! Thoughts? Cheers! Xo, Rachael
