Happy Dia de Los Muertos - with Bombshell Stamps

Image
Happy Day of the Dead! We're celebrating Bombshell style at Bombshell Stamps! I used Bombshell stamps Sugar Skulls  and the large Alter Skull for this project. I love background stamping in white on black! I'm quite happy with how this project turned out. Maybe next year a 3D Alter?  If you like Alters, check out this project I did with an Alter for Skully Day 2012 Otherwise, leave some love in the comments section! ;)

July Pin Up Challenge - Bombshell Stamps: Jewelry

Image
This month's Pin Up Challenge was to make a piece of jewelry using our bombshell stamps. Since I've sold everything except my jeweler's pliers, I decided to make little trinkets instead. If I had any jump rings, I'd add them on! Ingredients: Tim Holtz trinkets Glossy Accents (Aileen’s liquid applique might work too, but I haven’t tried it) Your choice of images - stamps; paper or clippings (I'm using the three sugar skulls from Bombshell Stamps' Sugar Skul l set.) Make sure all the air bubbles are out of it, clean up the sides (I like to use a cotton swab ...

Skully Appreciation Day 2012!

Image
Hi All! Thanks for checking in to see what's happening! Happy Skully Appreciation Day 2012! Here's my project! I used the Alter Skulls set from Bombshell Stamps, as well as the flowers and heart from the Madonna Woodcut set. I loved this Tryptych die cut that I found! You might remember this project because I've been working on it forEVER. This project was so fun and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was challenging and so cool to see it come together!! Thanks for stopping by! Cheers,

Stuff I Love: Language + an extra!

Image
Hiya!  I was thinking about what a sign my dad has says (it's in German) and so I looked up how to say cat or kitten in all these different languages. That's what lead to this Tuesday's Stuff Love. I just plugged in "language" and these are some of my favorites which ended up in my treasury. I hope you like it! It was fun to make! Also, here's what I've been working on that is art-related, but not a card. Follow this blog for a chance to win my blog candy. :) Cheers! Xo, Rachael
