Drunken Stampers - Team Bahama Mama - Braveheart (Tartan/Plaid/Gingham)

Welcome back!
This week's Drunken Stamper Challenge is Braveheart, or Gingham!
 
I really enjoyed this challenge because I got to use a number of items I've been hoarding, namely the fall accessories.
 
 
I got to layer with this tag, using three different types of ribbon!  The little felt owl is on a clip and can be removed from his perch.

I'm pretty happy with how this little tag turned out. I wrote on the back and attached it to a jar and gave it to a friend fro her 19th anniversary with the law firm we both work for. She loved it. :) I hope you do too!

    Super cute tag Rachael!! Love the colours and that little owl is adorable! I am always excited when I get to use something from my stash that I have been "collecting" (hoarding).

How To Effectively Sell: Part III - FABG!

Hello All, Let me preface this post by saying that the FABG selling technique is not my original idea. When I was in commission sales I read a selling book that saved my life (and my paycheck) by Harry J. Friedman called "No Thanks, I'm Just Looking". Artist's Collective #3 - Maeve Brennan

I first heard about Maeve after reading Kate Bolick's  Spinster    at the beginning of 2016. (At first I hated this book, but then it grew on me as Kate's story continued, but I digress.) Brennan is one of Kate's Five Awakeners and consequently, one of the people in my Artist Collective. I think that Maeve lived the life that she wanted to live and I think because of that she is a strong female role model. Suffice it to say, Maeve Brennan was thought-provoking at the least. I've included Maeve in my Artist Collective series because she inspires me to challenge myself artistically. She wrote in one way or another her entire life, even toward the end when she literally had nothing left.
