New Stamps Release with Visible Image

Hello My Lovelies!

Check out my newest creation for Visible Image Stamps! I constructed this attractive art tag that features a number of techniques and different images from Visible Image. Its my first time incorporating an art tag onto a card.

To create this card I used following:

The chain and padlock from the Heavy Metal set;
the Classic Face rubber stamp;

the Grunge Polka Dot background stamp; and
the Grunge Flourish stamp.

You will also need your favorite Tim Holtz Distress Stains.
I used Aged Mahogany, Chipped Sapphire, and Peeled Paint.

I created a background with the dye and diluted it by spraying water on it. I patted the tag to soak up some of the excess ink and set it aside to dry.

Next I stamped the Grunge Polka Dots in red on the lower 1/3rd of the base of the card.
I stamped the Grunge Flourish in VersaMark Watermark ink in each of the upper right and left hand corner.
After the inks dried I distressed around the edge of the card with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Antique Linen and Walnut Stain.

I then glued down a strip of black cardstock and cut a notch in it.
After the tag finished drying, I stamped the large feather from the Free Your Imagination at the base and top of the tag in sparkly silver ink.

Next I took the word "free" from the Free Your Imagination sentiment and stamped it several times, not re-inking the stamp between stampings, to create a shadow effect.

I then stamped out the "your" and "imagination" from the same sentiment.

Next I took the flock of crows from the same Free Your Imagination set and stamped them in the top right-hand corner.

After that, I took the Classic Face rubber stamp and selected just the eye to ink. I used the stamp free of a cling block and wrapped it against my finger to stamp the image I wanted.

I finished off the tag by stamping the chain and padlock from the Heavy Metal set and the ink spotches from the Free Your Imagination set, just eyeballing where I would like them. It doesn't have to be perfect.

Add a button or two and you're done!

I hope you enjoyed this. It was a lot of fun to make. Check out our  Visible Image Blog & Facebook Group!
